What is The Well?

The Well is a place where education, community, accountability, and opportunity meet; to work towards full body wellness in mind, body, and spirit.

WEDNESDAYS, 5:30–7:30PM, FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Find a supportive and welcoming community at The Well to reach your wellness goals! 

• 5:30–6:30pm is reserved for workout time, the opportunity to not only utilize the fitness center, but also to choose from select classes, workout with a Well trainer or just walk the river or track 
• 6:30–7:30pm is for a Kroc Talk to hear from local industry professionals on any number of wellness related topics.

Free childcare is provided for children between 3 months and 5 years old. Youth participants between the ages of 6 and 11 can participate in a free youth fitness program. Questions? Call 208.763.0679

Nick comes to us from the Community Library Network where his passion for teaching to curious minds through technology and books benefits our community in so many ways.


› September 20 - Breast Cancer Screening with Dr. Ames Smith

Dr. Ames Smith is a surgeon and long-time practitioner in the field of treating breast cancer. He will be sharing his insights on the best preventative measures a woman can take to hopefully prevent ever facing a breast cancer diagnosis.


› September 27 - Medicare with Calvin Peters

Calvin Peters providing Medicare 101 – providing ideas on ways to save money if you’re already on Medicare and if you’re not, giving some insight into ways that it may benefit you.


› October 4 - Dyslexia 101 with Lisa Repp

Lisa Repp from Inland Northwest Dyslexia, and her team, will be sharing a series to enlighten our community, educators, and parents about dyslexia and also how INW Dyslexia is making dyslexia services accessible to everyone.

Prepare your family for an emergency with an emergency "Go Bag", as shared by Sarah Long from the Kootenai County Emergency Operations Team.


› November 15 - Financial Emergency Planning with Roxanne Kussler from ICCU

Roxanne, with ICCU, will share best practices on how to prepare your finances so that you can avoid a financial emercency.


› November 29 - Family Game Night

Join in on a fun family evening of Kick ball in the gym and then join us for board games, or family Pictionary, and snacks, in the River and Osprey Rooms.

Free Child Care for Well Attendees

Free child care is provided for kids between 3 months and 5 years old from 5:30–7pm every Wednesday.
With adult participation in The Well, children ages of 6–11 can join Kid-Fit-Go, a youth wellness program, for free. 

Kid-Fit-Go Information
Kid-Fit-Go is free fitness program for children of adults attending The Well. Participants ages 6-11 will join Kid-Fit-Go from 5:30–7:30pm for a youth fitness program.
