Kids will love this fun and engaging camp experience where they will participate in STEM, swim, team building, climbing, and sports activities. Parents can rest easy knowing that their child is being cared for by a staff member who puts their camper’s needs first. At Camp Kroc, campers will be safe, have fun, meet new friends, and, most of all, get to be kids!

The Kroc Center is supercharging summer fun! Camp Kroc provides a safe place for kids to make new friends, discover new hobbies and talents and most of all, have a fun and memory filled summer!

Pee Wee Camps

FOR AGES 4–5  | MON–FRI: 9AM–12:30PM | MEMBER $119, PUBLIC $140
Pee Wee Camp is the perfect way for your young camper to gain social skills in a creative, fun, and safe environment! We pay special attention to our young campers to make sure that their first camp experience is a positive one. Each week will feature a unique theme! Campers will enjoy rock climbing, swimming, arts and crafts, Bible lessons, field/gym games, scavenger hunts, science experiments, and more! Every Friday we will have a Costume Parade. 
     • Campers must be fully potty trained.

     • Please send your camper with an extra set of clothes.
     
• Campers should wear socks and closed-toed shoes.
     
• This camp includes 2 snacks each day (no lunch).

Discovery Camps

Discovery Camp focuses on being a safe place for children to make new friends, explore new interests, learn about Jesus, and have heaps of fun! Each week will include crafts, games, activites, a dress-up day, and a movie that all tie into the week's theme.
     • Campers must be Group Ready, for more information take a look at our policies here.
     
• This camp includes lunch and 2 snacks each day.

     • Campers should wear closed-toe shoes and bring a water bottle.

     • Campers will be expected to swim or play water games 3 to 4 days of the week, so pack a swimsuit and towel each day.

Campers who bring personal items such as toys, books, electronics etc. will be asked to keep them in their backpacks.

Need to come early or stay late? Take advantage of this supplemental offering for Camp Kroc participants ages 6–10. Extended Care is hosted in the Zone/Discovery Club room under the supervision of a Kroc Attendant. Please note that Extended Care does NOT include any additional meal or snack. Campers must be picked up by 5:30pm or late charges will be applied.

Adventure Camps

Adventure Camp is all about building friendships, having fun, learning about Jesus, and exploring the great outdoors! All Adventure Camps include a variety of on-site and off-site activities. On-site activities include field games, the Climbing Wall, pool time, and crafts. Off-site excursions include hiking, swimming, outdoor rock climbing, and more!  
     • This camp includes lunch and 2 snacks each day
     • A water bottle, active style clothing, and closed-toed shoes are daily requirements
     •
Campers should be prepared to get in the water 3–5 days per week. 
     • Each Camper will receive a 2026 Camp Kroc Water Bottle!

Expedition Camp is an opportunity to explore the natural beauty of North Idaho alongside exciting adventures, lasting friendships, and a deeper understanding of God’s love. This camp experience is designed to maximize on the endurance and maturity of our 12–14 year old campers. Our Expedition Camps include opportunities to visit the Climbing Wall, swim in the Cove pool, play field & gym games, learn about God’s love for us, go camping on Thursday nights, and more! 
     • This camp includes lunch and 2 snacks each day.
     • A water bottle, active style clothing, and closed-toed shoes are daily requirements.
     •
Campers should be prepared to get in the water 3–5 days per week.

Join our beginner-level volleyball camp designed for kids who want to learn the basic skills of the game in a fun and supportive environment! This camp is perfect for those with no prior experience, and those with some knowledge of the game; the focus is on helping young players develop a love for volleyball while gaining confidence on the court. ROCK CLIMBING CAMP

Whether you’re an experienced climber or still working through a fear of heights, this camp is designed for you. Campers will learn essential climbing safety while building new techniques and tackling fresh challenges each day to grow their skills. Please make sure your climber comes prepared with active clothing and a water bottle. The Kroc provides harnesses and climbing shoes, but you are more than welcome to bring your own gear if you prefer!

Camp Gifford

The Salvation Army’s sleep-away camp in our area is in Loon Lake, Washington, right on Deer Lake! Their Discovery Camp is for kids ages 7–12, and provides many opportunities for campers to discover something new about themselves, the world, and the people around them. 

Campers can participate in electives such as swimming, challenge courses, arts & crafts, wildlife & nature, and sports & athletics. They will also have chapel time, special cabin activities, free time, camp-wide activities, and an evening campfire full of fun games, songs, and skits. 

While Camp Gifford runs camps all summer long, The Kroc Center is partnering with them for 2 weeks! Transportation to and from camp is provided, as well as all meals and snacks. Plus, Kroc members get a discount on those 2 weeks. 

     • Campers will be dropped off and picked up at The Kroc Center. Drop off is at Noon on Monday, and pick up is at 11am on Friday. 
     
• There is no need to send extra money with your camper to Camp Gifford, all snacks and meals are provided. 

     
• Extra paperwork is needed for Camp Gifford campers, please keep an eye on your email to ensure forms get completed before the start of camp.

Healthy Meals
Camp Kroc is fueling the mind, body, & soul. We offer fresh nutritious food, so your child has the energy to learn and play all day long. Every full day camp includes a healthy lunch and two snacks.

If your child has special dietary needs that make them unable to eat the lunch/snacks provided, please pack them a lunch and two snacks each day.

Campers attending Mini Camps can bring their own snacks, but none will be provided by Camp Staff.

Christian Values
Add positive Christian values into your child's summer! Every camp is designed to incorporate positive Christian values that your child can use in their daily lives, such as kindness, gratitude, grace, understanding and forgiveness. 

Staff & Safety

Our Camp Counselors are energetic, enthusiastic, and fun–but also trained to respond quickly and efficiently in any situation. Your child’s safety is our number one priority. 

Risk Management Policies

  • All camp staff members will receive First Aid and CPR certification from The American Red Cross.

  • Staff are trained for risk management procedures at each camp location.

  • There will be a 1:10 counselor to child ratio at minimum at all times. The names of the campers will be kept on staff at all times and head counts will be taken between each activity.

  • We prioritize water safety. Certified Kroc lifeguards will be present during all pool swim times at The Kroc Center.

  • A first aid kit and a list of medications and allergies will be on camp staff at all times. Parental emergency contact information will remain on staff no matter the activity.

  • When taking a field trip, the vehicle will be operated by either a Kroc Staff Member with The Salvation Army Decisive Driving Certification or a licensed local transportation company. 

  • Kroc Lifeguards will not be present for off-site camps during open water swim activities.

Camp Kroc is a Christian summer day camp program located in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. If you love working with kids and love to have fun, apply to be a Camp Counselor! 

Camp activities vary depending on the age group, but we can guarantee a fun-packed summer no matter what! Benefits include temporary full time employment with the possibility to go part time in the fall, meals provided during your shift, and a Christ-centered work environment. 

Requirements:

  • Full time availability
  • 16 years old prior to the start of camp
  • 21 years old to transport campers
  • Must be able to participate in mandatory training May 29–31, 2026

Counselors-in-Training

This volunteer position is for ages 14–15 and is great for those wanting to add to their resume and gain experience in youth development. 

This position will primarily be working with Discovery Camp, ages 6-9, as well as opportunities in Pee Wee Camp, ages 4-5. Activities include swimming, rock climbing, field games, and more! 

Accepting registrations until May 26, 2026.

Requirements:

  • Able to participate in at least 3 weeks
  • 14–15 years old
  • Must be able to participate in mandatory training June 2, 2026, 3–5pm
