Flannel Fest Red Kettle Gala (2022)

The second annual Flannel Fest Red Kettle Gala is The Salvation Army Kroc Center's premiere auction event, the perfect way to kick off the giving season with that warm festive feeling.

With roughly 250 people in attendance, Flannel Fest 2022 went off without a hitch. With the popularity of our Wine Tree Dash, and the live auction, it's clear that everyone who participated in this year's Flannel Fest Red Kettle Gala left smiling bright and hopeful for the future.

While the success of the event can be measured in multiple ways, the main goal is to raise funds to support The Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign, the lifeblood for all Kroc community outreach throughout Kootenai County. This year's event raised a net total of $130,000, a great kickoff for the Kettles season. Every penny from the Red Kettles will go toward helping those in need in our local community in 2023, including clothing children, emergency shelter, providing healthy food for hungry kids, rental assistance, feeding families, and so much more.

It's no mystery as to why the Red Kettle Gala is a popular event. The flannel attire, flannel decor, and the generosity of the Coeur d'Alene community made this a much loved evening. There were fantastic auction items, a photo booth and cocoa bombs accompanied with a rolled up note with a message, each note, testament to the devotion of the The Kroc Center to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and meet people's needs in His name without discrimination. The Flannel Fest Red Kettle Gala inspired guests to pass on warmth to everyone this Christmas season and beyond.
