Are you among the one in three Kootenai County community members that has been impacted by The Kroc Center? Amazing things take place everyday at The Kroc, and we want to hear about it.
Your stories help inform our community about all of the life changing things that are happening at The Kroc Center, and will help ensure that everyone in need is able to receive a scholarship, that children in need will be provided with warm winter clothing, that emergency assistance can be supplied to local families, and more. Your story is critical to The Salvation Army Kroc Center's mission. Do you have a Kroc Center story that's changed your life?
Spring Break is coming up soon at The Kroc Center from March 25–29. The gym, climbing wall and the zone will have extended hours of noon–8pm, Rec Swim sessions will be 12:30–3pm, 3:30–5:30pm and 6–8pm.
The Kroc Center has made the decision to close the Big Yellow Slide in the Cove Pool. Based on a review of the structure, we have decided to close the slide until it can be replaced over the summer of 2019. Please note that regular rec swim will continue as normally scheduled.
Passing through town on a cross-country adventure, Tom and Pam fell in love with Coeur d'Alene and The Kroc Center way of life. "We love the spirit of the people and being part of a health conscious community." They are active Clothe a Child and Third Grade Swim volunteers and often take part in River Walk, Yoga, and the guided hikes. The Searcy's recommend taking the plunge and learning to swim, even as an adult, and allowing yourself an extra 15 minutes to catch up with the friendly staff throughout the facility.
