MAKE A DONATION

Clothe A Child

Too many children arrive at school each day cold, wet and without proper winter clothing The Kroc Center works with local schools to reach out to these, our community's neediest children.

Red Kettle Campaign

When you donate or ring the bell for The Salvation Army here in Coeur d'Alene you help provide, new winter clothing for local children, food for families,  Kroc scholarships, emergency fuel, heating assistance for families or help send local kids to camps.

Share The Love

After the holidays is when families struggle the most, both with depression and with finances. The Kroc Center’s Share the Love Food Drive provide meals and a little bit of love to youth and families during the most difficult month of the year: February!

After School Program

Students in grades 6–12 receive homework help, a healthy snack, and participate in fun, physical activities at no cost. Donations support transportation from three local middle schools.

3rd Grade Swim

Third grade classes in Kootenai County receive five days of water safety and swim lessons with caring, certified instructors. Donations offset transportation costs and allow more schools to participate.

Camps

Camp Kroc day camps and Camp Gifford overnight camps provide everything a child needs to make great summer memories and learn that no matter what happens in life, they are cared for.

The Kroc Scholarship Financial Assistance Program

Every life deserves to shine. No one in need is turned away from the life-changing opportunities at The Salvation Army Kroc Center through the Kroc Scholarship Program. With an average of 1,500 individuals on scholarship, this is by far The Kroc Center's largest outreach and single greatest need for community support.

Emergency Assistance

The Kroc Center partners with Post Falls Food Bank, St. Vincent de Paul and Coeur d'Alene Fire to offer emergency assistance, one deserving family at a time. Whether they need help keeping their lights and heat on, or paying for a much-needed prescription, donated funds make sure basic needs are met for 40 families every month.
