When you make a gift—money, time, or energy—to The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, you become a part of the largest project ever undertaken by The Salvation Army. Your gift becomes grounded in the reputation, trust and credibility of The Salvation Army—which is well known for its continuing efforts of providing relief to those in need.
The Salvation Army Kroc Center annually impacts one in three people in Kootenai County. Thanks to the generous gifts of local donors at Salvation Army Red Kettles, online, and at The Kroc Center front desk, local individuals and families receive clothing, swim lessons, life skill classes, food, rent & utility assistance, and much more. Watch the videos below to learn more about the impact your donation makes year-round. Then, share your own reason for giving.
Yvonne has a special reason for wanting to participate in The Salvation Army Kroc Center's Operation Clothe-A-Child this year: she was served by The Salvation Army in the same way when she was a child.

Before moving to Coeur d'Alene, Holly never dreamed that her son Justin would be able to play basketball, rock climb, or experience being a real kid by moving independently in his wheel chair. Justin has already accomplished all three of these activities, thanks to Fitness Coach Kevin Nelson and specialized Kroc Center fitness equipment. Justin is stronger, more confident in himself and an inspiration to others.
