More Ways To Help The Ultimate Gift When Joan Kroc pledged her gift, she wanted to ensure that operating the Kroc Centers would not negatively impact nor diminish the critical human services that The Salvation Army already delivers. Services like providing shelter, food, clothing and disaster relief needed to continue. She also wanted to ensure that any person or family that wasn't able to pay the normal costs of a Kroc Center membership would still be able to enjoy the center. To keep her vision intact, Mrs. Kroc established an endowment to support the Kroc Center programs and operations. When you make a gift to The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, you become a part of the largest project ever undertaken by The Salvation Army. Your gift becomes grounded in the reputation, trust and credibility of The Salvation Army-which is well known for its continuing efforts of providing relief to the poorest of the poor. |
