Ministry Classes

Mid-week ministry classes vary throughout the year and may be about a specific subject, person or book in the Bible.  All of them, however, will teach, encourage and provide opportunity for fellowship and friendship.

Become a more dedicated disciple of Christ.  Discipleship Training classes, Levels 1-4, will be offered throughout the year. Level 1 classes will be offered at least four times a year. Discipleship Training classes are nine-weeks long, meet once a week, and have a little homework. They are designed to help a group of believers grow together in their relationship with Christ.

If you are interested in calling Kroc Church your church home and you want to really understand what The Salvation Army believes, this is an important class for you.  We will take a detailed look at The Salvation Army's Doctrines, as well as our Positional Statements on important issues. Plus, learn more about the history of The Salvation Army, including its unique terminology, including Soldiers and Adherents, who make up the congregation. To find out when the next class is offered, email us at krocchurch@kroccda.org or call 208.763.0601.

Community Involvement

There is never a dull moment at Kroc Church. In addition to special holiday services and events, there are opportunities for retreats, volunteering, get-togethers, and need-based community projects. The Salvation Army has over 100 years of history based on community involvement and continues to be a focus of our congregation.

Do you want to be involved? Please email us at krocchurch@kroccda.org or call 208.763.0601.

WEEKLY BIBLE STUDIES:

Join us as we go through interactive Bible Studies written by Max Lucado, Priscilla Shirer, Ann Voscamp, and more. Watch for interspersed crafts, arts, service projects, and learning opportunities between studies. Enjoy refreshments and be welcomed as family.

Join a group of men as they fellowship and study God's Word together. All men are welcome as we gather to read Bible passages, discuss their meanings and pray together.

Join with other men from Kroc Church and the community as we share a meal and watch an inspiring movie. The movie and the meal are free to all.

Bible Studies

Mid-week Bible Studies give an opportunity to dig deeper into God’s Word to gain understanding, knowledge and wisdom.  We can live more powerful lives and expect to experience the joy and peace that comes with walking close to the Lord.

Kroc Church offers on-going weekly study groups, as well as groups for men, women, young adults and youth. Have a look at the list below to find a place to get plugged in!

If you have any questions about our Bible studies, or would like to suggest a study, please email us at krocchurch@kroccda.org or call 208.763.0601.

Kroc Church Children’s Ministry

The Kroc Church children’s ministry team aims to partner with parents to help their children build a solid foundation for a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ. Through Sunday morning classes, fun family activities and special events throughout the year we are excited to help you lead your children on a life-long journey of faith.

Sunday Mornings

Each week on Sunday mornings, children worship Jesus, study the Bible, pray for each other and build friendships.

Drop-off/Pick-up at the Play Care check in desk

Little ones in the nursery are well cared for by our wonderful volunteers who nurture with the love of God. They bring the message of the Bible to the children in simple, easy to understand terms.

Huckleberry Hollow is where our most curious and active age group meets. Kids will have plenty of fun while learning a meaningful Bible lesson. Bible verse memorization is encouraged through simple movement. Children must be fully potty trained and wearing socks.

Drop-off/Pick-up at the Play Care check in desk

This is where the fun begins! Children will engage in small group discussions where they share how they can apply what they learned from scripture to everyday life. Prayer and worship are a focus in the lesson each week.

Community Rooms, 10:00AM

Join our Middle and High School youth for a time of discovery, discussion, and (most weeks) donuts! Learn how the Bible applies to your life and to the problems and challenges that are unique to you and your peers.

Family Sundays: 1st Sunday of each month

On the first Sunday of each month following our church service, please join us for a free community meal. Fun, food and fellowship!

Middle & High School Youth Group

The Connection Youth Group, Wednesdays, 6–7:30pm, Jan 9–May 29, 2019

We believe that everyone was born with innate value given by God, because of this The Connection is for belonging and growth. We meet weekly on Wednesday nights in the Zone from 6–7:30pm to share a meal, connect with peers and mentors, and examine the model that Jesus laid out for a quality life. We love to expand these ideas into our lives as they catalyze growth. Expect each evening to end with an awesome group game. For questions, call Caleb Lynch at 208.763.0594 or email us at krocchurch@kroccda.org

During the Centered Young Adult Group, youth will attend worship concerts, go on fun outings with their friends, and study the Bible.
