The Kroc Center is committed to building a strong community, and that starts with educating the adults of tomorrow. The Kroc's youth programs combine developmental learning, mentorship, team building and more in a fun atmosphere where kids will feel comfortable learning, being active and making new friends.
The Kroc now offers homeschool programming with an emphasis on physical education. This course will focus on sports introduction, play and game theory with an emphasis on team collaboration. Questions? Call 208.763.0621.
The Kroc Center offers an after school program to members and non-members that consists of free transportation, a healthy snack and organized activities for youth in grades 6–8. Free transportation is provided Monday through Friday from Lakes, Charter, Canfield and Woodland Middle Schools to The Kroc Center. Students work on homework, projects or study skills while supervised by Kroc staff from 3–4pm. Students will be engaged in homework time, youth clubs, or organized group activities provided by After School Program staff from 4–5pm. From 5–6pm students will have supervised free time! Members have an option to sign out of the program and sign into the facility to utilize their member benefits including teen clubs and other programs. Scholarships are available. After School Program is not available on early dismissal days, school holidays or snow days. Questions? Call 208.763.0677.
Free transportation is provided after school Monday–Friday from Lakes, Canfield, Charter and Woodland Middle Schools for Kroc members & students who are enrolled in a Kroc program. Free transportation starts for the new school year in September. To enroll, download a Program Enrollment Form and transportation waiver, submit completed forms to The Kroc Center front desk.
