Front Desk Safety Attendant Hours: Part-Time, afternoons, evenings and weekends (must be available to work Sundays) The Front Desk Safety Attendant is responsible for maintaining and monitoring the safety of both members and employees throughout the center. Responsibilities include verifying memberships through POS system, doing rounds through the center, recognizing and monitoring suspicious behavior, diffusing stressful situations, communicating with members in an authoritative and compassionate manner, reviewing video surveillance and recommending a resolution for various scenarios within The Center.
Duties and Responsibilities: •
Provide great customer service to the community; see that all customers, clients and members are given prompt and courteous service. • Must be able to handle cash, make change and operate the Frontline computer software. Will wait on customers, clients and members according to established procedures. • Receive and handle incoming telephone calls, visitors and emails in a friendly and businesslike manner. Direct calls to appropriate program/staff in a timely manner. • Maintain progressive knowledge of all programs and facilities. • Observe and identify customers. • Maintain the integrity of The Center by monitoring entrances and exits. Play Care Attendant I The Play Care Attendant I is responsible for the safety, care and wellbeing of the children in the Children's Clubhouse Play Care Center. Attendants will follow the policies and procedures of the center regarding personal conduct and security, as well as demonstrate a true desire to work and play with children.

Swim Instructor The Swim Instructor gives instruction to students of all ages and ability levels in subject areas related to swimming, presenting subject matter by demonstrating proper techniques.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Ability to assist in instructing with sound principles in the area of American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, Preschool levels 1, 2, and 3. • Ability to speak and communicate before both small and large groups of people with poise and enthusiasm, including but not limited to children, parents, coworkers, and staff. • Critique and give feedback to participants regarding their performance level. • Provide a safe, fun and enjoyable learning environment for all participants. Group Exercise Instructor Are you a self-motivated, energetic individual who loves fitness? The Kroc Center is now hiring Aquatic and Fitness Group Exercise Instructors. Primary duty is to instruct aerobic-based group fitness classes to Kroc members and guests. Programs include, but are not limited to, River Walk, Strength and Conditioning, Wave Runners, Yoga, Aqua Blast, Turbo Kick®, and Zumba® classes. Certified Lifeguards American Red Cross certification is required. Must include copies of current lifeguard certification and completed Interest Form with Employment Application. Forms can be returned to the front desk at The Kroc Center.
