Your application will be held on file and reviewed when positions become available in the categories you express interest in. Kroc Attendant
The purpose of the Kroc Attendant is to assist with the crowd control and programming of the Kroc Center. Programs include Press On, The Connection, School's Out Day Camps, Homework Help, summer camp, climbing wall, gym attendants, 7-10 program, and special events. Kroc Attendants will provide superior customer service and will be proactive in looking for ministry opportunities throughout the building. The underlying theme of all established programs will be to express the love of Jesus Christ and to reach out especially to the community's youth no matter where they may stand in their walk of faith.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Promote the Mission of The Salvation Army.
• Ensure that parents and youth alike view the Kroc Center as a safe area for youth and a place to turn in time of need.
• Be familiar with and execute the One and Done discipline policy.
• Help maintain a safe, supporting and encouraging environment for youth and families.
• Promote positive family relationships.

Day Porter/Custodian I
The Day Porter/Custodian I will provide services to maintain a clean, safe facility and grounds at all times. Responsibilities include custodial, maintenance, repair, set-ups and service to maintain the functionality of the facility.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of all private and public areas to assure that the users of the facility receive safe, effective and acceptable service.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance procedures on assigned areas and equipment such as restrooms, public areas, trash containment areas and any public or work area.
• Maintain the appearance of the facilities by adhering to assigned duties to assure an attractive, safe and functional facility is presented to guests, visitors, and employees.

Aquatics Maintenance/Custodian I
The Aquatic Maintenance/Custodian I will provide services to maintain a clean, safe facility and grounds at all times. Responsibilities include custodial, maintenance, repair, set-ups and service to maintain the functionality of the facility.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the following: Competition Pool, Cove Pool, Indoor Spa, Outdoor Spa, Locker Room/Cabanas, Mechanical Room, Chemical Rooms, and Storage Rooms.
• Provide supervision and monitoring of the Locker Room and Cabanas.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance procedures on assigned areas and equipment such as restrooms, public areas, trash containment areas and any public or work area.

Fall Program Instructors
Fine Arts Instructor: experience in drawing, watercolor, acrylics, mixed media.
Dance Instructor: ballroom experience.
Kroc Fall Program Instructors are responsible for giving students of all ages and ability levels instruction in fine arts or dance. They will also be responsible for designing instructional programs, preparing lesson plans, and demonstrating proper techniques. Applicants must be able to demonstrate skills. Work hours and schedule will vary based upon the programs needs.
Rate of pay will be based upon skill/experience.

• Ability to assist with instruction
• Ability to speak and communicate before small and large groups with poise & enthusiasm
• Critique and give feedback to participants
• Provide a fun and safe learning environment for all participants

Swim Instructor
The Swim Instructor gives instruction to students of all ages and ability levels in subject areas related to swimming, presenting subject matter by demonstrating proper techniques.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ability to assist in instructing with sound principles in the area of American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, Preschool levels 1, 2, and 3.
• Ability to speak and communicate before both small and large groups of people with poise and enthusiasm, including but not limited to children, parents, coworkers, and staff.
• Critique and give feedback to participants regarding their performance level.
• Provide a safe, fun and enjoyable learning environment for all participants.

Group Exercise Instructor
Are you a self-motivated, energetic individual who loves fitness? The Kroc Center is now hiring Aquatic and Fitness Group Exercise Instructors. Primary duty is to instruct aerobic-based group fitness classes to Kroc members and guests. Programs include, but are not limited to, River Walk, Strength and Conditioning, Wave Runners, Yoga, Aqua Blast, Turbo Kick®, and Zumba® classes. Certified Lifeguards
American Red Cross certification is required. Must include copies of current lifeguard certification and completed Interest Form with Employment Application. Forms can be returned to the front desk at The Kroc Center. If you are not currently certified, but are interested in lifeguarding at The Kroc Center, call our Aquatics Department at 208.763.0657 to learn about upcoming lifeguard classes.
