Applying for a position here is easy. Simply download and fill out the Employment Application and Interest Form, then return them to the front desk at The Kroc Center. Your application will be held on file and reviewed when positions become available in the categories you express interest in. 2014 Summer Day Camp Positions
Camp Counselor (temporary full-time)
Youth Development Attendant (temporary part-time)

The purpose of these positions is to act as the face of The Kroc Center to the youth of the community and their parents. Youth Development Attendant and Camp Counselors will be trustworthy conduits through which parents and youth can connect to The Kroc.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure that parents and youth alike view The Kroc as a safe area for youth and a place to turn to in times of need.
• Serve as a positive role model for the youth of the community.
• Promote positive family relationships.
• Assist with and implement daily and weekly activities.

Camp Counselor
Youth Development Attendant

Day Porter II - Grounds
The Day Porter II - Grounds will provide oversight to the landscaping/snow removal and exterior of the building. Also ensuring the parking lot is clean and providing a visible presence to deter any vandalism, theft, or questionable behavior. Part time, $9/hr, must be able to work in all weather conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Keep parking areas clean and orderly.
• Play a key role in snow removal.
• Center landscaping such as weeding, pruning, and fertilizing.
• Manage irrigation system.

Human Resources Generalist
The HR Generalist will assist the HR Manager in the recruitment, processing, and development of the employed staff of The Kroc Center. The position is part-time, 25 hours per week, Mon/Wed/Thurs, with extra hours as needed. Expected starting date mid-May, $12/hr. Applications must include all requested materials to be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Emphasis on payroll processing.
• Perform reference checks, process new hire paperwork.
• Maintain employee databases.
• Update employee records as needed.

Swim Instructor
The Swim Instructor gives instruction to students of all ages and ability levels in subject areas related to swimming, presenting subject matter by demonstrating proper techniques.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ability to assist in instructing with sound principles in the area of American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, Preschool levels 1, 2, and 3.
• Ability to speak and communicate before both small and large groups of people with poise and enthusiasm, including but not limited to children, parents, coworkers, and staff.
• Critique and give feedback to participants regarding their performance level.
• Provide a safe, fun and enjoyable learning environment for all participants.

Group Exercise Instructor
Are you a self-motivated, energetic individual who loves fitness? The Kroc Center is now hiring Aquatic and Fitness Group Exercise Instructors. Primary duty is to instruct aerobic-based group fitness classes to Kroc members and guests. Programs include, but are not limited to, River Walk, Strength and Conditioning, Wave Runners, Yoga, Aqua Blast, Turbo Kick®, and Zumba® classes. Certified Lifeguards
American Red Cross certification is required. Must include copies of current lifeguard certification and completed Interest Form with Employment Application. Forms can be returned to the front desk at The Kroc Center. If you are not currently certified, but are interested in lifeguarding at The Kroc Center, call our Aquatics Department at 208.763.0657 to learn about upcoming lifeguard classes.
