Current Available Positions
All positions are Part-Time unless otherwise noted.

Membership Services Manager (Full-time, exempt)
The Membership Service Manager will be responsible for supervising the membership team and front desk staff, setting the customer service tone and expectations. Other supervisory responsibilities include goodwill ambassadors and safety attendants. This position will oversee and handle membership sales, group inquiries, and retail sales. A primary goal is to provide customers with a positive experience with an avenue to be heard.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervise all functions of front desk area, including membership sales and transactions, guest relations, and scholarship processing.
• Ability to train staff in customer service, Kroc programs and policies and POS technology.
• Oversee the sales of enrolling guests in programs, camps, lessons and ticketed events. Communicate adequate knowledge of programs to the front desk team.
• Be the escalation point for customers/member service issues. This includes but is not limited to invoices, complaints and/or refunds, transactional complexities, and computer data problems or concerns.

Student Ministries Coordinator (Full-time, hourly)
The Student Ministry Coordinator will provide oversight and vision to the Corps/Church youth programming at The Salvation Army Kroc Center. The Student Ministry Coordinator will be a reliable conduit through which parents and teens can connect to the center. The Student Ministry Coordinator will plan, organize, and facilitate the mid-week Connection program and oversee the middle, high school, and college age Corps/Church ministries. The focus of this position is to bring students into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and to provide discipleship opportunities for them.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate all weekly, monthly, and yearly activities in Student Ministry.
• Lead and train staff and volunteer youth leaders on Corps/Church program and outreach ministries.
• Identify and implement other appropriate student ministry programs that assist in the spiritual development of students under our influence.
• Coordinate all volunteers and staff involved in student ministry small groups and be the primary connection for student ministry in relationship to other youth programming/activities in the Kroc Center.

Swim Instructor
The Swim Instructor gives instruction to students of all ages and ability levels in subject areas related to swimming, presenting subject matter by demonstrating proper techniques.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ability to assist in instructing with sound principles in the area of American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, Preschool levels 1, 2, and 3.
• Ability to speak and communicate before both small and large groups of people with poise and enthusiasm, including but not limited to children, parents, coworkers, and staff.
• Critique and give feedback to participants regarding their performance level.
• Provide a safe, fun and enjoyable learning environment for all participants.

Certified Lifeguards
American Red Cross certification is required. Must include copies of current lifeguard certification and completed Interest Form with Employment Application. Forms can be returned to the front desk at The Kroc Center. If you are not currently certified, but are interested in lifeguarding at The Kroc Center, call our Aquatics Department at 208.763.0657 to learn about upcoming lifeguard classes.
