Beginners through competitive swimmers ages 6+ can benefit from working one on one with a Kroc Aquatics Personal Coach. Learn to swim, improve your strokes, review basic water safety and lifeguarding skills, or perfect your flip turn. Our personal coaches will design an individual lesson, a semi-private lesson, a small group lesson, or series of lessons to help you meet your personal swimming goals and master the techniques of the healthy lifelong sport of swimming. Call our Aquatics Management team at 208.763.0657 to schedule an appointment. Ask for Jessica.

Swim Lessons for All Ages.
The Kroc offers a wide range of group swim lessons for a wide range of swimmers. We are now able to offer these classes at a new low rate of $48 for 8 sessions (savings of $16 over 2010 pricing). Spots fill-up fast. See program guide for full schedule.

Competitive Swimming-CAST Youth Swim Team
Join the excitement by becoming a member of the Coeur d'Alene Area Swim Team! Evaluations to see if you are ready for the swimming program are available by appointment. Previous competitive swimming experience is not required; the evaluation is designed to make sure new participants are placed into the proper practice groups.

You don't have to be a great swimmer to get started. The entry level program is specifically designed for swimmers who enjoy the water and can complete a length of a 25 yard pool unassisted. CAST's emphasis is on establishing proper stroke technique in all four competitive strokes in a fun and challenging environment and preparing our swimmers for age group competition. If you love to swim and are ready to take the next step up from a lesson program, CAST is the way to go!

If you have any questions, or would like to schedule an individual swimming assessment, contact Bob Wood at 208.699.8008.
Or, check CAST out online at www.swimcast.net.

Tips for Safe & Healthy Swimming
Help us keep the pool safe and healthy for everyone!
+ Children 6 & under must be accompanied in the Cove Pool with an adult (18 years+) reach at all times.
+ Children 3 & under must wear a swim diaper and plastic pants with full elastic legs and waist.
+ Parents are ultimately responsible for the safety and well being of their children.
+ Please shower to remove any lotions, makeup or perfumes prior to entering the pool.
+ Do not use the pool if you show any signs of illness or have had diarrhea in the last two weeks.
+ Lifeguards are the final authority on rules and regulations in the pool area.

Please note: Maintaining a clean and healthy swim environment is of the utmost importance at The Kroc Center. You can help by having your family follow the tips listed above. The Kroc pool will close immediately for 30 minutes to 24 hours if an illness or bathroom incident occurs in the swim area. Health and safety protocols are conducted prior to reopening the pool.
