Swim, Bike, and Run at The Kroc

Triathlons and multisport competitions are among the fastest growing athletic events. Do you have a Sprint, Olympic or Ironman dream? At The Kroc Center, we can help you set your triathlon goals and guide you from your first splash to crossing the finish line. If you have ever wondered if you could be a trisport athlete, now is your opportunity to get started right. By taking baby steps, we show you how to train slowly and properly from the beginning. Tri Endurance Swim
Tues/Thur, Mar 8–Apr 12, Ages 15+, $70
Looking to swim faster with less effort? This is a perfect class to work on your stroke and endurance while learning distance swimming training techniques. Prerequisite: Ability to swim front crawl for 200 yards in water up to 10 feet deep.

Tri-Swim Swim Smart
Thursdays, Mar 8–Apr 12, Ages 15+, $35
This class is perfect for the new triathlete or those who have never had formal swim training.  Focus is on technique, building confidence in the water, and setting the foundation for becoming a successful swimmer. Prerequisite: Ability to swim front crawl for 25 yards in water up to 10 feet deep.

Triathlon Lecture Series
Mondays, Mar 26–Apr 9, Ages 11+, $25
This is an exciting opportunity to learn about the rapidly growing sport of triathlons from one of the Northwest's best triathletes. Derek Garcia is a USA Triathlon certified coach and All-American Professional Triathlete who has competed in Sprint, Olympic and Ironman events including the Kona Ironman World Championships. Join us for three evenings of lectures, demonstrations and tips from Derek about the swim, bike and run sections of a triathlon, plus information about transitions and nutrition. Separate classes offered for youth and adults.
